Why is all that money going to be spent on the high priced help(moving expenses and salary) ---is it to bolster Tonys shortfalls or are there things comning that needs the extra talent .Why could they not spot hire a financial consultant for a couple weeks ??? Market Creditability ????

Is this the FIRST YEAR IN HISTORY that Timmins Ontario has had cold weather ????? If Tony has lived there most of his life he must have hidden under a rock for the better part of his life ,next excuse is in the spring some of the men may suffer from hay fever thus can not meet targets .Summer time too hot, fall to many leaves can not see the road ,then back to winter Come on Tony get a grip on ...more

geoffs , if I remember well did you not say you were an accountant or something in that nature of a office job.Partner you need a little reality check of a real mans job. Timmins witch is the city I also live in was hit with a long cold spell this year witch hasn't hit us in awhile.I worked in the Smelter that had a 7 major natural gas heater and still water lines bursted and chutes plugged ...more

Idlefreebird...you sound like you just came off one of those 12 hour shifts. All you are reading is the ying and the yang. Some folks have less knowledge and understanding about mining. I can remember back in 1968 unloading frieght cars in the winter. The thaw shed was so cold the muck would not run out of the cars with the doors cranked wide open. I pounded hollow pipes down deep in the muck. The ...more

The workers effort was never in question ,it was mgmt ability to properly estimate ,.Tony should have known about the cold WEATHER potential loss  and estimated properly ,not BS his way through it . Now what about spring and the POLLEN count is that going to slow the mill down also ---if so Tony should expose the problem now not after the fact . goldhappy , ouch as they say there is always someone stonger out there .I just had a flashback of old times and thought I had to set it straight for the men and woman that put in those dreadfull hours.Last year at this time they were getting the golf course ready as I played my first round March 29 2012.GLTU

geoffs , not that you merrit a responce from me but here it is.Tony explained himself verry well as he didn't hide the loss of production and even gave everybody a heads up before the quartely results came out , not like he did in May 2010 therefore kudo's to him as he learnt from that mistake.Therefore even if Tony would hire a weather person it wouldn't make a difference as what ...more
