Current status of LSG, as I see it.

At this price LSG is a good buy but would have to go down another 2 or 3 cents to get me back in.

Longer term prospects are good, not great, and I still feel given a slow strengthening of the gold price, this is worth 60 cents with potential to go higher over a 12 month period.

Agree. Price of gold has stabilized around 1470 and tested near 1490 this morning. It is only a matter of time it will push through 1500. Not a question of if, but when. Nevertheless, this stock has great potential in the short term. It baselined at 0.38-0.39 and should be in 0.50-60's soon.

Maybe in the 50's-60's in a few years. LSG can barely meet the low end of their guidance... WHEN WILL THEY LEARN TO EXCEED THEIR GUIDANCE ??? this is why they suck so much...

Bulkbeef, perhaps you could enlarge on your thoughtst as to why LSG could not climb back to the 55-60cent range, given gold moving up to say $1550  ?

LSG is a "show me" stock.  And what they have clearly shown to investors is there are much better places to put your money in terms of gold plays.  A cloud of negative sentiment hangs over LSG.   Completely out of favor amongst serious investors.   Production issues, Management issues.  Disconnected from the POG.  Been an absolute disaster for ...more

BB - I quite agree with you that LSG is now a show me stock.  The question for the people on this board is do they buy/keep their shares or do they not buy or sell them.  New retail investors are many miles and months behind institutions in terms of awareness and information.  So the question is do you invest ahead of the curve or behind it (essentially making you a second idiot ...more

Do you think we shall get honest answers at the AGM or more Tony---- Blue Sky ---Everything is ok --type of answers. If If If we get bought out what is your best guess at price ?? What bothers me is that alot of shareholders are going to get shortchanged because of Tony's inexperience in running a company .this was very evident at last AGM .Also lack of depth on the Board of running a mining ...more

ossyw11...I appreciate you taking the time to put your thoughts on our bullboard. I'm in way over my head. Bought this stock all the way down from 4 bucks. Just can't figure out a mine full of gold collapsing to 38 cents. It does not help that LSG rarely makes good on forecasts. From what I pick up on your comment is that we should be ok long??

Feel bad for the guys that bought in over $2. Things happen and fundamentals changed for many companies past several years. This company is not alone. Fact of the matter is that they have been mining high grade gold and met production guidance at comparable all-in costs. It's nothing but a dogs breakfast to say they were at the lower end of 2012 guidance and that is why the sp price is low ...more

Just can't figure out a mine full of gold collapsing to 38 cents. It's not the asset, it's the people running the show that investors have given up on.    Smart money invests in the Management team first, the asset second.

Very True

Just want to say ;.....This was the most intelligent post on this subject. Thank you for that. I really liked the comment about skin in the game. The minor exposure that Tony and the BD have certainly raises eyebrows. Once again well said and thank you.
