Gold bar weight...

Idlefreebird, with due respect I'm questioning the gold bar weight and I tell you why: I have made a summary of the gold bars shown on LSG website for the Q2 and Q4 and pick in their Q2 and Q3 financial report their gold poured (not gold production)and look at the result: Gold bars number ounces poured Q2 48 31800 Q3 49 25900 Total 97 57700 Average weight/gold bar gives:594 ounces ...say 600 ounces. That means that for the first two weeks of October they have poured 12 bars or 7200 ounces. and if we apply the ratio for the Q4 7200/2X13weeks=46800 ounces and a total for the year of 125000 ounces (46800+78200) So ,just counting the number of bars multiply by 600 ounces gives us a very good idea of their ongoing operation. I d'ont want to figure the next year production but a ball park figure should be 3600 ounces x 51 weeks=183600 ounces!!!!!I( assuming their actual production rate and grade) Note: 51 weeks and 1 week down time ) Assuming the AISC costs of $1000 and an average selling price of $1300 they will have 55 millions available for futur expansion. We are really ''out of the woods''and this is why I have added some this morning at the opening. .

bosse , ha ha this is getting funny. The Q 3 has only 43 bars as July 1st pour is a mistake on there part and belongs to Q2 the same as April 1st belongs to Q1 . How I calculate is all 700 once looking bars add to one total all other witch I don't believe to be 700 onces put them together and multiply by 2 and add this total to the 700 once bar totals ha ha .Therefore for Q4 I got 8,050.The Q 4 ...more
