Does anyone know what happened suddenly???

Gold was down to $1249...All of sudden it reached $1256...This led to rise in LSG Stock too...
Anyone know why gold rose all of sudden??

Here's the REAL puzzle. Gold is primarily an investment commodity and only has minor, industrial use. SILVER is primarily an industrail commodity and only has a minor role, (so far) as an investment. Silver has made the SAME, small spike at exactly the same time. Both have the same chart profile, generally, and even specifically, as this example illustrates. HOW CAN THAT BE ? It can be ...more

Gold declined to the USD 1250 area where is seemed to find support and some buying interest. The sell-off over the past week has been due to the strength of the US dollar, which has been on fire the last three weeks, with the trend accelerating after Labor day. Know what's REALLY whacko? That politicians are honest, never lie, and never use their position to enrich themselves. Now THAT's a REAL whacko theory. Oh, and that banks primary concern is their depositirs welfare. AND, oil companies put the environment ahead of profits. Yeah, whacko for sure.
