Q: Since it's the end of a year, I will ask this question about stock picks for 2022. Hypothetically, you are in a stock picking contest to pick 10 Canadian stocks for 2022. Best total return for the year including dividends is the winner. Mr. X is your opponent. Since you are the pro, Mr. X gets to pick first. He has picked ATD, AEM, BAM.A, CNR, CSU, DOL, NTR, SHOP, SLF, and SU so you can't choose any of those. Which 10 Canadian stocks are you going to pick?

Mr. X has made some good picks. In a contest such as this, it is often best to be agressive, so we will be: ATZ, TOI, DOO, EGLX, AT, GSY, LSPD, DND, KRR, and TOU.

You have the guy all wrong. He posted that to show i5 had picked LSPD as one of their ten picks for 2022. Seen him on many boards and he likes to quote i5 a lot but also makes other observations. Never seen him try and sell a subscription. You might want to check out the list's he has posted for possible watch list contenders.

Appreciate your take on this jbloom.  But I'm still not convinced.  How can you really believe what you interpreted from his post?  Doesn't make any sense.  Read retiredcf's post again, closely. It's pretty clear and straightforward in meaning.  It's exactly what it says. He's soft selling people to go to 5iResearch's website
