Erection.  The TSX was on fire today.  Didn't see your trades posted like you usually do.  How come you didn't trade today?

Bluesjunkie.  I did trade yesterday but was busy with other family stuff so I forgot to post my trade.  Remember last Thursday I posted how Cargojet tanked by almost $28 in just one day and how I said it could climb back up real fast like it's done before.  Well I was keeping a close eye on it because it's a real monster of a stock.  When it drops it can drop big time ...more

Bluesjunkie.  If you're planning to daytrade you can't have the attitude of I'm just going to experiment with this to see how it goes.  If you do, your sure to fail.  You have to be all in whole hog, determined to make it work and fully commited or not do it at all.   You also need a "hunger" to be successful and profitable at daytrading.  You ...more

Wow, thanks Erection.  Appreciate the time you took for that detailed post.  I hear you about going all in.  I'm hungry for it but that high failure rate is kinda scary.  I'm pretty sure I'm gonna do it because if I don't try, I'll never find out.  I'll start off and only trade when all of the markets bounce to increase my chances of success.  ...more

Bluesjunkie.  Your welcome.  I did trade yesterday but not today.  There was no stock chart pattern I was comfortable with this morning and didn't want to force a trade just for the sake of trading and risk having a losing trade.
