Considering that the initial licence was for just 15 years (2008 - 2023), the 25 year replacement is fairly remarkable.

Could it be possible that there have been "off book "ex gracia payments made to members of the Government to facilitate this License? Lucara have a considerable inventory of smaller stones which are probably not well accounted for?If a few bags of these found there way into the pockets of ministers no one would be any the wiser and the wheels of honest commerce continue to roll .God ...more
