agreed. this caught my attention as well "The Company expects to monetize the +10.8 carat stones currently held in inventory in 2024. The revenue forecast for 2024 does not include amounts related to the inventory."

I imagine the govt (who like both Lucara and HB schemes) will knock some heads together and we might see a resurrected Luc/HB arrangement that addresses the recent spat?

If govt goes through with their proposed purchase of part of HB, and Luc comes to agreement with HB, then there would effectively be a kind of partnership between all three. Could Clara benefit from that? Let's not forget that Karowe is the only mine in the world that yields a steady supply of big high quality stones, so whoever wants.to share in that part of the market cannot exclude Lucara ...more

I wonder with hb's intention to compete to some degree with Clara had much to do with lucara pulling the plug , it must have rubbed lucara the wrong way . Never a good idea to annoy your main customer .  If hb had any sense they should have being getting further into bed with lucara rather than pushing lucara away .  Not to late to kiss and make up for everyone's sake .

Well, the HB director who was fired was subsequently re-instated, so there appears to be something of a kiss-and-make-up thing in the air.
