Rationale behind Gatling Exploration acquisition?

Not sure I understand the rationale behind the Gatling Exploration acqusition. Any comments from anyone? True, it's not expensive but it's gold and at a failry low grade with a very moderate tonnage although in an excellent location. Doesn't seem to be the kind of thing that would be in MAG's wheelhouse. Maybe they have good reasons that they have yet to reveal (or bad reasons that will never be revealed).

Gold demand is expected to outstrip supply by 2030. Many precious metals companies want Au exposure in stable jurisdictions. The Gatling property is still in the early stages of exploration and it is along a proven trend. Clearly, MAG management believes that there could be one or more large, low-grade Gold deposits there.
