So with this big contract they will make money and probably offer a dividend to rhe shareholders.

Based on the press release I would expect that most of the "juice" from the contract flows in 2023 instead of 2022. My preference would be for them to follow their guidance for the use of free cash flow as outlined in the investor presentation. I usually also have a preference for share buybacks over dividends given the tax treatment. I also struggle psychologically seing companies pay ...more

Company has achieved what they call a material rerating . Cormark report saying the company may not achieve the valuation it deserves unless pipeline coating separated from the other 2 divisions and dividend may appear in 2024.

Hi possible, how would the company separate pipeline coating from the other 2 divisions? Do they want Shawcor to sell part of the company ?

Hi folks, I just want to start out with the acknowledgment of the *speculative* nature within this post. Management has indicated on the last conference call that they were kind of just getting warmed up with the restructuring and that there was still a fair amount of work to do. It only took 11 days after my post for the Big announcement about the strategic review to go somewhere. That is about 354 days faster than I was expecting (kind of kidding). I have no doubt that this review will unlock value for shareholders compared to where the shares trade at today; however, the question is just how much value will this unlock relative to what could be recognized with these ...more

LR I have been thinking about Goldman Sachs  my thought is it ensures the most widespread marketing of the divisions which can't be a bad thing. I agree with you on the timing being earlier than anticipated ; maybe that's a good thing ( we will see how it plays out) because it may play on a buyer's greed of buying into a peak rather than at a peak).
