Level 2 Question

Hi,

Previously the user "Method" explained why I can't see the full volume of bids on my level 2 (they're spread across TSX, Alpha, etc. - thanks again!).  For the last week I've had an order in for 90k+ shares and could see only around 7500 shares show up in level 2 after I put in my order.  Today in level 2, I can see the full bid amount. Any idea why things might be different today?

[Method]

  If an order is put in while the market is open, the broker's router places it on each market so only some shows up on the TSX level 2 that you are looking at. If it's placed before the open, the broker's router probably puts all on the TSX for the opening trade and then doesn't move it unless you modify it while the market is open. Do you think that applies to you?

I do typically put in my order after markets have already opened but I may have put it in pre-market on Friday, so what you say might make sense!  I'll try a pre-market order next week and see for sure.  Thanks again for your help and hope you are well!  :)
