BYND

Obviously BYND is the clear winner vs MFI.  Today's announcement by BYND  with Pepsi says everything.   Do you buy MFI or BYND?   Do you buy growth or value (with crappy management!).  MFI has been a real disappointment.  Ya, sure, expanding Indianapolis - have not even completed the main plant yet and then they have to get it up and running.    HOLDING but for how long?

You can't just say I'm going to buy BYND because I want growth over MFI value. First of all, MFI has beat BYND on plant based protein sales growth in 2019. Second, BYND has a market cap of about 14 billion CAD right now, compared to the roughly 0.5 billion you're paying for MFI's protein business (so MFI doesn't need to be #1 to outperform BYND on shareholder return going ...more
