I think this is bulls*it

I think this is BULLSH*T.
The company locks in our money  by HALTING the stock for 3 months or maybe longer. They don`t give any updates to keep investors in the loop. Then when they lift the HALT we will all have our share sizes reduced substantially.Regardless of the ratio it still works out as a loss in my mind and I am pissed about the way this is being handled. The only people who will win here are the direct company shareholders and the new company.Us retail investors will lose on this one. To have the share price set @$1.00 reduces my shares so where before a small 1 cent move made good return and now a  10 cent move will be nothing.
I think the company should release a statement how this helps the existing shareholders.Yes I can see how it helps the company going forward however I am sure most investors like myself were hoping to take advantage of the large share sizing purchased below 8 cents once the company started to generate revenue. The whole idea of less shares pisses me off.

Boy I feel better now!

I agree with you about the stock consolidation. They should just raise money..issue the new shares at .03 cents and then lift the halt...if its a good deal the stock price will appreciate..if its a bad deal it will go to zero. I owned shares in blackpoint capital. Paid .20 per share. When they merged with the then private company Mistral ...more

Ahhh.. so there is life on this board. I was starting to thing I was talking to myself. I agree 200% with both of your sentiments. Check back to my previous posts on this exact subject - First off there is no need for a RS. This only screws current shareholders - if the company was truly interested in its shareholders it would not do this. plenty of companies run with way more shares outstanding ...more

In every consolidation, the share price always return to its previous value. Just say goodbye to our money...

I too think this is a bad move for the company and if bertrand wants the big boys to play, it`ll take a much larger R/S than 1 : 10 to attract investors.I will not like to see my investment go down to nothing. As for company directors bertrand will issue themselfs more options sometime after R/S at no loss to them.Just like other posters on this BB have been saying, this should not ...more

I agree with you all, a little update would not hurt. Sort of wrote off this investment when a split was announced and glad I did not put more as it seems like I will be in for the extra long haul if I want any returns... unless MP does not replicate the trend set by numerous others... kick myself for not buying more to average SP at 2.5-.3 as it would have hurt less than at .06. We will be lucky ...more
