Payout day!

Just learned a good lesson...

MKP payed out its regular dividend and then the special .85 dividend they announced was paid out as shares. The wording was "Stock Dividend" I never picked up that ment we would get shares, I had big plans for how I was gonna spend the cash I thought I was getting lol.

Done anyone on here know if these new shares given out are dilutive or if the company purchased them from the market to give to shareholders? I expect it's dilutive, but just want further understanding for the future...

This stock has made me have a few adventure that I've had to learn an understanding of terms and processes from, all relatively good things tho.

In the next year or so I could see a minor dividend hike as we normalize beyond the pandemic. I ...more

Mr. Banks - Thank you for your well written lengthy reply.  Much appreciated sir!  A tip of the cap to you on your success with this stock. In response to your question? - are the shares issued dilutive?  Off the top of my head I would say yes. Makes little sense to use cash to purchase shares that ultimately go shareholders of the company.   Best of luck to you going ...more
