Analyst ratings of Mood Media

The two analysts on the TMX website have Mood rated a "strong buy" and "moderate buy" respectively. Octagon Capital, while lowering their target price to $2.65 (more than double current sp), they still have it rated a "buy" obviously and I'm guessing now that the new financials have been such a pleasant surprise....I expect they'll be bumping it back up again.

The Byron Capital analyst who was featured in two reports earlier this year has a target price of over $2.00 and also gives it a "buy" rating......so far I have found zero analysts that think this isn't a great investment. Once again, the Byron analyst based his decisions on the previous quarters financials....the market is quickly waking up to how fast these guys are making money and turning this company around....very exciting stock to own!

Sorry, one last thing to add on to my previous post...this is taken from the April interview with the Byron analyst...keep in mind he is referring to Q4 2012. Goff says he is encouraged by Mood Media’s guidance, pointing out that it slightly exceeded his own expectations. He says the company’s move to higher margin video business hurt them in Q4, 2012 because of upfront equipment and ...more

MCN-I respectfully disagree...the "new financials" you talk about were flat in their frontrunner/flagship sectors for growth-present and future growth-for me and I imagine without them disclosing so-this would be an area of great concern and would explain in some cases the reason for divesture announced. When you are padding bottom end numbers near entirely based on tightening line item ...more

Wow...I just don't have time to type a complete response to that, but I will pop in here to mention a couple things. Check their financials and look at the large increase in revenue that has occurred. The acquisitions being a large part of the expenses last year, so now since they are done and they are selling off an underperforming sector of the business, more cash in the till for them ...more

i agree with you MCNABBPA....that sideliner in my opinion is some banksters hoping to get the shares at a cheap price.....Cormark/Byron and Octogan have all research reports out.... dont forget while the company has set up a strategic committee to increase shareholers value these guys are still trying to grow the company organically....   There are many retail companies that still dont use ...more

That was exactly one of my points to "shawshank" Dread, but after responding to him I checked out his contents page.....over 300 ignores? From what I see he's never had anything good to say about this company and claims to not have invested in it...............makes me wonder why he's bothering to read and post a bb for a stock he doesn't own?...............Another one ...more

I made that assuption long ago and posted same here, he has been on ignore list as well for me since then, Ihave no time for such BB from chat room punks   MOOD's numbers were better onthis Q's reporting, they are getting operational costs and one time costs under control and they just spent a lot of money recently having their business valuated, hmmmmm, seems to me, there is ...more
