Mood Media narrows H1 pretax loss to $7.4m 9 August 2013 | 07:41am StockMarketWire.com - Mood Media narrowed its first-half pretax loss to $7.4 million, from a loss of $23.4 million. Revenue totalled $255.4 million, from $191.9 million. The company's second-quarter loss was $8.9 million, from $8.3 million. Revenue was $126.3 million, from $107.8 million. "We are generally satisfied with our performance in the quarter and believe we are on the right track to deliver on our strategy," said chairman Lorne Abony. "Our EBITDA performance in the quarter was affected by some one-time gains in the prior year and by some unusually high expenses in the current quarter, which affected the reported trend in EBITDA," Abony said in a statement.
