Time for Duffy to Reinstate the Dividend!

all,

From the Q4 2021 production report, it looks like Mandalay Resources made $70 million dollars in revenue.  If costs were the same as last quarter--about $35 million dollars, then profit for Q4 should be around $20 million dollars or double last quarter's $9.3 million dollars.

Mandalay Resources dividend policy was 6 percent of previous quarter's revenue paid to shareholders.  Based on the current quarter results, the dividend if reinstated would be around $4.2 million dollars or 37.7 cents per share.  IMHO, CEO Duffy needs to reinstate the dividend to get the share price moving!

I personally think that MND stock will not appreciate significantly in value unless the company succeeds in doing two things simultaneously: 1)  continue to increase production at Costerfield 2)  increase Costerfield's mine life out to at least 7 years The latter is key, because without it, MND is simply not a realistic takeover/merger target.  Costerfield is a great mine for ...more
