results

congrats to management for finally putting together 2 quality quarters in a row. looking forward to conferance call to hear if they are on track for another. if so and gold prices hold above 2300 which is $200 above last quarters selling price then a special dividend would certainly be called for. this would still allow for a further increase of 20 mill or so in the company's cash position. rough calculations would suggest 5 cents a share would be about right. this company used to pay a dividend and it is time to start actually rewarding shareholders again. and i am not talking about ineffective share buybacks.i have been in this stock since before the mine collapse. it has been a long way back from the edge of the grave but the time has come

Yeah, they needed this in the worst way -- and they pulled off a great quarter at exactly the right time.  It was so frustrating seeing last year get lost to lower production, right when they finally got rid of the hedges.  If they can do the same for Q2, their cash position should increase to at least 70 million (assuming gold prices stay above 2200).
