Copper discovery cupboard bare... The 3 R's ???
Reduce, reuse and recycle... those words do not appear once in the article! If you consider their effects, what is the "true" net additional requirement of copper? Copper, unlike gasoline for instance, is a recyclable, reusable commodity. Fifty years ago we were running out of new "oil discoveries", yet we aren't out of the stuff yet! I am also leary when I see the name "Goldman Sachs" in articles... remember what they did to the lithium market about 3 years ago! Didn't we see articles about the dire nature of the supply of manganese and then tin? Whatever happened to our development of those critical resources that we have so much of???
What is the lead time for mine development at Cabacal or surroundings? There was a mine, so I would assume some infrastructure still exists... is it still 14 years as the article says? I'm not here for that kind of "long haul"... lol. Buyout... what value do we expect? 10% of in situ valuation??? NPV? etc...
Articles of this nature are out there for every commodity under the sun! While, as an investor in this particular one, the article in encouraging, take it with the proverbial "grain of salt"! Turns out, the focus is on gold anyway, which will pay for the development of the copper resource, which is years down the road...
That being said, I'm still liking where the S/P is and where it's heading...

TFSA has a point. However, all those copper windings on million of new electric car motors will overwhelm supply. IMHO
