Post-tax NPV (7%) of $709 mln

"Pre-production capex of $300 mln."

So they use a low discount rate and Capex is almost half of NPV as stated.

Tommy loves Raymond James ... yeah ... looks wonderul ... lol.

I love the shift from copper equivalent to gold equivalent ... nice switch and bait to create a false Rosie ... yikes !!!

The 2021 real discount rate for public investment and regulatory analyses remains at 7%. However, in Circular A- 4, released September 2003, OMB recommends that two estimates be submitted, one calculated with a real discount rate of 7% and one calculated with a real discount rate of 3%.Apr 1, 2021

"The 10% discount rate is the appropriate (and stable) rate to discount the expected cash flows from each project being considered."

The numbers should shine without the need for the grease ... you don't agree? How did Manganese work out? Not finding it ... we know how that went ... but the numbers on costs and revenues when Mn price were at highs. Have to ...more

Randys1 ... it's not being negative. A low discount rate gives a NPV of $700 million and not billions or at least one billion. Quoting in gold equivalent as opposed to copper equivalent is a sneaky switch ... imo. Now if Raymond James provided a sensitivity chart then a higher discount rate would show a lower NPV ... lower than $700 million ... uggghhh !!! Capex is $300 million and not a ...more

Hey Grimey,  I think that any coverage is good coverage and RJ appears conservative out of the blocks, which is also a good thing.  MNO's chart looks like just about every other chart lately with a 50% haircut in the last couple of months or so.  Maybe Gilbert and Adrian can drum up some interest in TO.  I think that what is happening in the broad market is a rotation into ...more
