Nice rant.
If I'm not mistaken, SOLA did turn out to be a scam, so there's that. We were told the Carolina pipe had produced 12,000 carats in the previous year... and when management had picked us clean for as long as they could, we all found out there was nothing there but dust.
Now since I was heavily invested, I can't really think of myself as having been the smartest guy in the room... but I may have been the first one to suggest that we'd been had, and the emperor actually had no clothes.
I was once on an army post in Germany where I found out someone had a higher ASVAB score than me. I was kind of surprised.. There couldn't have been more than 3 or 4 thousand guys there. So I know I'm not always the smartest guy in the room.
But anyway, I did finally figure out the emperor wasn't really wearing clothes at SOLA... and I did know that the entire hill at Espigao wasn't made of solid manganese.
Hey, sue me. Oh yeah. Can't win that one, can ya? Truth is always a defense to slander.
That said, you never believed in this copper thing, and they've actually followed through on what they said... unlike the ancient ones. The stock hasn't performed, but management seems to have. And you've had a lot of chances to get out of it with a nice profit. So why are you screaming at me?
If the share price is too low, buy. If you don't like it, sell (buy Snowline... It's undervalued ). I'm holding this one. I brought my own money. I've lost before. You can call me a fool if it doesn't work out.
