I'm about an hour north of TO.  I heard that Hanlong has NOT purchased any shares above their 53.8%.  However, that does not preclude any individuals from purchasing stock who might be predisposed to vote with Hanlong on any or all items raised at the AGM. Like you, I will wait and see.  But, I have to say, that after 5+ years of owning MOL, I have faith that this company will ...more

Hey Zorro, I don't think a lot is going to happen on MOL now until the AGM on the 28th.  I certainly hope they release some positive news about their pursuit of Acquisitions.  It isn't that I'm getting impatient, but I am getting a little discouraged on what appears to be, at least on the surface, heel-dragging on their part.  Howver, I do understand that they want to ...more

OnDaBall, other than getting their people in place, plus trying to pick up shares on the CHEAP through not too kosher means to go around the Aussie laws, nothing else has been done for the past couple of years. I think that their SECRET INTENT is to take MOL private in the near future. I doubt that anything will be done before that happens. I SURE HOPE THAT I'M WRONG BUT MY GUT TELLS ME ...more

It would certainly be fortuitous if some timely buying would drive up the price so that if the Chinese were indeed planning to take MOL private the premium paid would bring us up to $0.50 to $0.75.  Then I would only lose my shirt and not my whole wardrobe!!    : )
