Looks like they added 10,288,167 shares of Marathon Gold to their ETF.

Late to the party T1, GDXJ directly controls no stock.  The effects of being part of the GDXJ is significant some days.  They (GDXJ ETF)  bought 10M at the market and paid what the sellers agreed upon.  2.34 or something.  there are probably other indices that mirror that fund - and probably bought into it prior to last week. tC

Overall what is the consensus with gdxj etf adding moz. At first everyone saw it as a positive. What's your take ?

It's added exposure and legitmacy.  It's not a huge deal and you are at the mercy of rebalancing of the ETF from time to time.  One would have thought those 10M shares were harder to come by but it obviously gave a few larger holders an chance to exit.  Gold "should" be stronger than it has been but isn't - i can see a few funds a bit nervous about that and ...more
