I have not heard a word regarding the First Nations view of the existing study and its failure.  From that deafening silence I can only assume that it means they too are not satisfied with Mansons inadequate information.  If they were satisfied I would think that the wisdom of Manson, Powell and Faught would want that to be stated.  You know with a group hug pic!  Pathetic leadership!  Watch the stock options be granted at the low of this plunge yet to come.  No accountability...really...anyone pleased?  If no one is held accountable(Manson/Faught/Powell), remember your losses when you vote next AGM!  JMO

I agree. This all smells very fishy to me, and smacks of a betrayal of us loyal shareholders by the individuals who have been employed and entrusted to manage our company. This is a massive setback for Marathon Gold, and the reputations of those individuals are now in tatters. If any one of them now tries to profit financially from the sad situation that they alone have created, then I hope that

I must be missing something here.  What is this criminal level of incompetence you are referring too?  Personally I'd be much more concerned if I was hearing about First Nations being upset rather than what is currently happening.  Apparantly the MOU signed with the Miawpukek First Nation regarding the Environmental Assessment doesn't matter in your opinion?

I agree with this.  They have no reason to step in right now.  They are good with it but anything better  in the deal for the environment is a great benefit.  And the reason to not step in is because this property will be a mine one day in the near future.   Hopefully with somebody's name on it. tC
