At the federal level of environmental approvals, for some reason documents issued November 22, 2021, just appeared: the feds also returned MOZ's EIS for more information. The link below includes the Round 3 information requirements (not as long a list as before!):

On the bright side, it would appear that MOZ has already responded to the Round 3 requests, because the latest update is:

January 12, 2022 — The Impact Assessment Agency of Canada is reviewing the adequacy of the information submitted by the proponent on January 7, 2022, related to the Environmental Impact Statement.

Read the FED requests. Unless I missed something the biggest issues are water quality and the impact of contaminants to birds and fish short term and longer to final mine closure. Up to the consultants and engineering experts to figure out. When they start taking transcripts and quotes from books written by scientists I wonder if anything would or can meet acceptance? Canada has decent mine ...more
