Interesting...

Really interesting that shareholders are willing to sell their MOZ shares for such a low price! The little apples are falling from the tree... hope they don't kick themselves too hard when MOZ goes back to $3.50 and then beyond. But, to each, their own!

Totally agree Zack50...... For each buyer at these prices some fool is selling......totally boggles my mind. BJ

Seemed to have heard the same thing when it was at 3.00, 2.80, .... it would be easy if it was a sure thing.  you  never know what lies ahead...company specific, sector specific or just the stock market in it's entirety. I should be fully out now as my low bar trigger was supposed to be 2.50.  lack of discipline.  my ave 2021 sale was 3.42.  i have recently bought a ...more

Curse well said. The thing is if one expects Marathon to show a reason for increased share price given the results to date then why not throw a few more into the pot with no good reason for negative sentiment other tham inflation costs which Marathon has addressed in their engineering plans and to have more diciplined control over the project. Not a flat out Card Blanque approach.  I did add ...more

No financing until after the updated resouce estimate and updated feasibility study.  They will get a much better deal after that.

Financing is good...no mine was ever built without it.  The final permit will be in hand before Aug. Updated feasibility will show even better economics. If you can't see the prize 2 years out you shouldn't bother with it.

Financing a while ago at 3.50 would be great.  Financing at 1.75 doubles the dilution.  Did i argue about financing - no.  I am concerned at the price and potential warrants. Been here for so much longer than you.  don't talk about prizes.  i saw selling 50-60K of shares at 3.42 last year as a good idea.  some of those shares were way too old....dating back to ...more

You were smart to take some off the table...it wasn't worth 1x NAV back then and isn't now.  It will be worth 1x NAV or more once all the pieces of the puzzle come together...which they are. Retail ran the price up too high and retail is second guessing their thesis now.  We will get a re-rating on the resource update (comprehensive) the updated feasibility and the reciept of the ...more

The scenario I see is that larger instituional holders are looking for a low ball deal on the next financing offer with flow through shares. Nice to see it higher but the way those guys cut the cheese is they want a deal to see a heafty return. My guess is they are chmping at th bit to get an over allotment. With TD covering MOZ perhaps I'll get a shot at some flow through. Last time was with ...more

Why are you thinking flow thru shares?
Comment by Ridgeback on Apr 29, 2022 7:33am
Why are you thinking flow thru shares? Marathon will continue to drill over the coming years and to issue new shares with flow through shares attached for the sole purpose of exploration drilling is most likely what they will do. The mine construct financing is in place. I expect they will be agressive in growing the mine life and resources while building is ongoing. Sounds like a good idea to me ...more

Just a comment - isn't flow through more likely used by companies / projects earlier in the exploration/development stage than Moz now finds itself? The concept of flow through , i thought, was just that - to incentivize mineral exploration. Moz is on the cusp of production - shouldnt further exploration now be viewed as a "pay fot it with cash flow from production" scenario? Keep ...more

Dilution is enevitable and what better way to entice participants in an offering with bonus shares. Wish it were not so but just the way a smell the cheese being cut.
