ECB was ready to tighten 2 days ago...now their going to continue QE to save Italy....Japan bond market blowing up....Retail sales SUK....total doom everywhere you look and MOZ drills some more killer holes.....Love it!

If this is victory I hate to see defeat.    Gold hit $1837 and then right back down as expected.  Trend is still down.  Squiggly lines don't lie. I expect 75 basis points today and  another 75 basis points  in July with eventual interest rates reaching 3.5% by the end of this year.   Once gold hits $1725 then I expect share prices of the gold miners to

Well you could be right however..."trends" are only knowable in hindsight.  The global economy is a train wreck and as you saw today the ECB is already folding....the FED may hike large but they will fold too soon enough. All faith will be lost in their god like powers and the only thing that will be bought will be precious metals.  And miners

Fed won't be folding any time soon.  Their one mandate right now is to get runaway inflation under control recession be dammed.  If the stock and housing bubbles get pricked too bad.  That would be a good thing not a bad thing.
