RBC’s Wayne Lam cut his target for Marathon Gold Corp. to $1.50 from $2.25 with an “outperform” rating.

Others making changes include: Canaccord Genuity’s Michael Fairbairn to $2.75 from $3.50 with a “speculative buy” rating and CIBC’s Anita Soni to $1.65 from $1.75 with a “neutral” rating. The average is $1.97.

Looks like Michael Fairbairn is our man this time! Such varying ratings... hard to believe they all use the same data to come up with their analysis.

Analysts are useless.  They didn't advise everyone to sell at $3 did they?  They never do. They have no long term vision and only react AFTER the fact. If they knew anything they'd all be rich and not working for a living slogging stocks to rubes.  Gold will tag $3000 and every viable project will be a multi bagger.  Buy low and sell high works.  Stick with names
