Two Kicks at the can

Here's a little somethong Off Topic but includes Calibre and while we don't have the merger just yet I do hold IAU (i-80).

Nevada has been lucrative for multiple companies in 2023

This is the latest set of positive results i-80 has produced from its Nevada-based properties. In October, the miner reported high grade results from its Granite Creek project, including 15.5 g/t gold over 19.7 meters.

This continues a trend of positive results that many companies have enjoyed throughout 2023 in Nevada.

For example, Vancouver-based junior explorer, CopAur Minerals Inc. (TSXV: CPAU) (OTCQX: COPAF) returned its best drill results so far from its Kinsley Mountain gold project.

The company discovered 15.3 g/t gold over 32 metres, including 10.7 metres grading at 24.1 g/t Au. The Kinsley Mountain gold project, containing Carlin-type sulphide gold, resides in Elko County.

Nevada King Gold Corp. (TSXV: NKG) (OTCQX: NKGFF) has also consistently returned high grade results in the state, including 37.16 g/t Au over 29 meters in AT23WS-44, 2.15 g/t Au over 96 meters in AT23HG-34, and 1.89 g/t Au over 114.3 meters at the Atlanta Gold Mine Project in the Battle Mountain Eureka trend.

Nevada King has completed 323 drill holes, totalling 57,392 meters to date. These holes include 17 core holes with a total of 1,587 meters and 306 reverse circulation (RC) holes at 55,804 meters. So far, the company has assay results for 186 holes, and results are pending for another 137 drill holes.

Another example is for Calibre Mining Corp. (TSX: CXB) (OTCQX: CXBMF). In June, analysts from Haywood Securities Inc were astonished by the high-grade mineralization emerging from Calibre’s Palomino target on the Eureka trend in Nevada.

These results earned recognition as the best ever observed at Pan, not only because of their exceptional grade and grade-thickness attributes but also due to the remarkable continuity of mineralization within the system and its relatively shallow depth.

In 2023, Nevada has become a thriving hub for gold mining, marked by impressive achievements from companies such as i-80 Gold Corp, Calibre Mining, CopAur Minerals Inc., and Nevada King Gold Corp. These firms have reported significant high-grade mineral deposits and exceptional drilling results, reaffirming Nevada’s status as a top destination for gold exploration and production.
