TAKEOVER GIVES MYON A BOOST
Myon Systems Inc a Victoria Internet company which lets radio stations achieve a shortcut route to the web broadcaastin via its localwave.com portal, has engineered a reverse takeover of Mira Properties Ltd. The inactive Vancouver Island mineral company has a listing on the Canadian Venture Exchange and when the deal closes, it will be the main vehicle for Myon to raise $400,000 for expansion , says director Paul Starita. "we allow radio stations to become Internet-ready," he says. It allows them to run advertising and offer an electronic shopping cart to sell items, and creat "sub-radio stations," such as the live Web-casting of Saanich council meetings via the Victoria site.
