This could go bust.  But if it doesn't and they renegotiate the debt could this be a 4 or 5 or even a 10 bagger?

This will not go bust. There is far to much important Irish money in this. DD will not allow this to fail. BUT, it will likely require a rebalancing of the balance sheet which could see debt being convertd into equity, at a substantially lower share price. This could be bad for currrent shareholders. I think the way to play this is to allow the equity to get nuked, buy the "new equity" ...more

We have to remember that DD has acquired 4.5M shares at $0.72 just a few months ago. What is released to the market is just a small fraction of what is happening inside companies like MPVD, where a small group of big players are running the show.  Of course, this asset is still risky until clarity on the debt, but I am bedding on it based on the assumption the man who has replaced probably 2 ...more

DD has paid $5.00 per share for many millions of MPVD shares.  It is unlikely he will shoot himself in the foot in order to make some money on the lower priced shares.   Afer all, MPVD is on track to earn $0.40 -$0.50 per share in 2022.
