Auto parts is a terrible business. It demands heavy capital and constantly needs investment in production facilities. Also, it's highly competitive. The PE looks cheap, but it's capital heavy. Avoid.

All valid points. Undisputable. And yet they seem to make money every quarter and are at the forefront of some of the technological advancements in production.  I am sure that when magna was facing the big one way back when and their stock had slipped to a couple of bucks with bankruptcy looking like a possibility not a single analyst was telling you to take a chance on that ride....and ...more

Still holding this company with a nice low average. Not only am I thankful for the consistency how management operates the company, continually innovating BUT through their Partnership with Z:PLTR - PALANTIR TECH INC I decided to invest and very glad I did. As rates come down Martinrae should benefit positively, IMO. Transportation industry is NOT dead and never will be. Holding both Martinrae ...more

The only thing needed for this play to fly would be for the transportation industry to come to its senses and start pricing vehicles with some sense of reality. The average working class / wage earner at one time could afford a new vehicle every few years but now ........ totally unaffordable.  Yes, the cost of manufacturing has gone up but both the manufacturer and the dealerships (some more ...more
