$500 million in shares offered at 112.30$ closing June 17

From NA June 11 Press Release :

National Bank has agreed to issue and sell 4,453,000 Subscription Receipts at a price of $112.30 for total gross proceeds of approximately $500 million. The Public Offering is being underwritten on a bought-deal basis by a syndicate of underwriters.

Closing of offering is expected to occur on or about June 17, 2024.

Did'nt exactly flew off the shelves at my broker... market sentiment is split on the startegy.  It's a small bank with 39 branches and probably some bad surprises ahead from the coming recession Jeffery Gunlach is brilliantly talking about thanks to goverments maturing balloon depts in the next 24 months.

You should check the track record on Gunlachs predictions. Do you know his track record? Not so brilliant. he likes being on TV..
