Ugly day, but at least 1.00 held for the end of the day. and I got to put another 15K of NAL in the family TFSA's at a better price.

I am hanging on for another drop as per the technicals.  Still thinking it goes down to a healthy mid .90s before fully rebounding which would make me more confident in a genuine turnaround.  Newalta is a great TFSA/RRSP investment option.

just to clarify, i believe this stock is being manipulated by a pair of loaded buyer/seller.   they get the momentum moving and then clueless folks jump in after seeing it as a top performer, then seller 2 pulls his money out and people get paranoid, sell en masse, the short makes $.  could be wrong but that is my intuition. would be interested to hear any other traders insight

can you scroll throw the largest exchange transactions on certain days and see the seller?  i am making an assumption based on the stock behaviour and still believe we will go back to mid .90s before going back up in the new year.   the first few weeks will be interesting for newalta as it is one of the worst hit energy stocks in canada.   everything is setting itself up

another nice move and a bounce from 0.96 very quickly. the post $1 run is lookiung much safer to me.  how about everyone else?

This is the spot shorts really didn't want. Holding above $1, all the oil momentum, the only thing still lacking is volume. If/when that returns, it's going to be furious. My average is 86 cents, not dreaming of selling yet.
