In this respect, our Strategic Partnership on Raw Materials, which we signed in July 2021 can be transformative. It can help us to jointly build secure, sustainable and resilient value chains for critical raw materials.

Indeed, our visit to the Nano One facility yesterday showed what we can achieve in the field of new, clean technologies, working together under CETA.

I will not go into more details of these joint achievements, and I am looking forward to hearing more from our Chief Economists and from our teams.

To conclude, let me repeat that today’s meeting is a great opportunity to look at CETA’s achievements to date, and reaffirm our commitment to exploiting the full potential of this fantastic, modern trade deal.
