Predicting the future
Predicting the future of a company - forcasting Mr. Market.
Today, on a German board a user wrote he has liquidated his investment in Nano One Materials. He no longer sees a "unicorn". He believes, his money is more productive elsewhere.
"Exciting news all around but this stock doesn't move". He appeared to be invested on short terms and speculated accordingly. And that' s okay.
"Starsearcher" pictured his "unicorn-thesis". I liked that! Do I need a "unicorn-thesis" to hold on to the stock? No. I don't. Why is that?
Gathering all information I came across about Nano One Materials, I see two rare things combined: a market in the making and a company with an - to me - exceptionally skilled management.
Why do I stress the management? For this is what I bought in the first place I think. Retrospectively speaking. How they communicate, how they present themselves and their technology, how they navigate within the ever-changing news and industry-developments. How they are involved and participate.
The company's "down to earth" attitude combined with their dilligence, skill and top-notch connections makes me believe that they can do it. Of course they can fail. Everbody can. But I don't think they will. I don't want that. And yes I want to profit on their development! But this is the first company where I really feel connected to the people working there. It feels strange, allmost wrong as an investor. But maybe it is just another approach to investing. Buffet always focuses on management and stability. I would not argue.
I believe it's all there. I believe Nano One Materials will sell water to a sponge (and of course others will too).
I believe the people at Nano One can accomplish what they deserve for their never ceasing effort: respekt and ongoing success.

Please do believe or dream we all know what's happens when you dream. Matter of fact history shows don't have a dream. But in the real world Nano One has absolutely zero and true investors see this
