Contrarian Investing: Buy When There's Blood in the Streets (investopedia.com)

KEY TAKEAWAYS

Contrarian investing is a strategy of going against prevailing market trends or sentiment.
The idea is that markets are subject to herding behavior augmented by fear and greed, making markets periodically over- and under-priced.

"Be fearful when others are greedy, and greedy when others are fearful," said Warren Buffett, a phrase that encapsulates the contrarian philosophy.

Historically, market panics can be a great chance for low-priced investments.

Being a contrarian can be rewarding, but it is often a risky strategy that may take a long period of time to pay off.

We all knew Nano stock was trending in this downward direction.  And seasonally, this is a terrible time for all stocks and especially speculative EV plays.   But the fact remains, there are lots of good Nano One news releases planned for the remainder of 2024 and through 2025.  Who knows how low Nano share price can go and how long we will continue at these low levels.  ...more

I hope for success for all, my advice don't look at what this as your golden goose, If it works out you won't need a over sized position, accumulate when real sales come.

Great advice Teccing.  The Nano story is so compelling that it is easy for investors to find themselves over committed.  And with no fundamentals it is impossible to establish fair value.     Nano is truely a speculative investment and therefore should only be a very tiny fraction of your portfolio.     good luck to all the longs.
