Evolution Mining issues in AUS dragging down other miners NCM selloff no news but Evolution Mining is having issues w labor (covid) in Western Aus. and rain (New SWales) they also announced putting Western Aus mine expansion on hold and Red Lake in CA is taking longer to turn around.. it got hit hard and took down Newcrest and Northern Star, the other big two in AUS.
Nothing from Newcrest recently, its diversification should help.. the Cadia mine is in New S. Wales and Telfer/Havieron in the north so no direct impact but will have to wait and see. I put a limit order in to increase NCM a little in the selloff. Long term, the lowest cost major w longest life mines which is where I want to be long term.
