MALACHITE

Wellgreen is labelled a sulphide deposit.
Are sulphides and oxides only saught out ?

Wellgreen's copper value ( grade ) 0.15% +/-
What if this was only the copper sulphide ?

What is Malachite ?
Copper Salt Carbonate

Structures and properties

Formally, malachite green refers to the chloride salt [C6H5C(C6H4N(CH3)2)2]Cl, although the term malachite green is used loosely and often just refers to the colored cation. The oxalate salt is also marketed.

Malachite is a copper carbonate hydroxide mineral, with the formula Cu2CO3(OH)2.

= reveals considerable Chlorite

This report reveals Malachite ( North west of, Wellgreen )

Forgot to post the Phase 2 MET Tests
RE - 18% copper con

https://www.newswire.ca/news-releases/nickel-creek-succeeds-at-separating-nickel-and-copper-concentrates-for-nickel-shaw-project-687747701.html

QUESTION
Could the phase 2 MET Tests  revealed - 18% Malachite copper grades...?
vs
While lab assays reveal chalcopyrite grades ?

Phase 2 Metallurgy Test

Example -
Head Grade = 0.29 gpt Pd
Recovery = 53.9%
= 0.156 Pd grams recovery factored

Nickel Copper Separation Commercial Scale
Cu Concentrate
Pd = 2.6 grams

2.6g ~ 0.156 g
= 16.6 tonnes processed

This same Copper Commercial recovery columb
Head Grade = 0.15% Cu
Recovery 59.6%
= 0.089% Cu recovery factored
x 16.6 tonnes
= 1.47 % Cu

How is it....?
18% copper ?

In order to achieve 18% copper the ore grade would have to be,
18% ~ 16.6 tonnes
= 1.08 % copper per tonne

437 million tonnes x 1.08% copper
= 4,719,600 tonnes
x 2200  lbs
=
10,383,120,000   billion lbs ???

Could Malachite exist in the Wragallera Range ?

Weathered copper deposits
will form oxidized copper + malachite copper with carbonate lime.
Wellgreen has - carbonate limes

Can chalcopyrite convert to malachite ?
YES

Chalcopyrite is most often found with pyrite and other sulfide minerals, as well as sphalerite, galena, dolomite, tourmaline or quartz. It can oxidize to form a number of minerals such as malachite, azurite, and cuprite.

Junior measuring only chalco copper sulphides ?
What if the significant chlorides and carbonate limes host
high grade copper ?

How did phase 2 MET achieve 18% copper ?

The light colour of serpentinized dunite tends to
accentuate the black refractory chromite. Chromite is present
in the form of disseminations or weakly developed "chainm-
texture and may attain concentrations up to 10% (by volume).
Although this light coloured serpentinite gives the impression
that there is significantly more chromite than in the darker
peridotite, chemical and modal analyses suggest the contrary.
Average dunitic rocks contain approximately 3-5% chromite
whereas peridotite contains 1-3% chromite. Feldspathic peri-
dotite similar to that shown in Figure 11F also occurs within
the dunite member. The olivine-chromite cumulate has been
mapped as dunite, dunitic, and originally contained 85-98%
olivine and 2-15% intercumulus plagioclase.

Garnet skarn zone rocks are fine- to medium-grained and
consist primarily of reddish-brown garnets (75-80%)

Years ago, i was reading a report where they just assumed the
red crystal gems were - garnets.

Yet, they tested the garnets and = Rubidium ( $ 3,200/oz )
