You are correct-same person I be. Same email account too. But you can do the research you like to do and find out from Stockhouse why that glitch occured. That is on them. I didn't and don't think it is still possible. Back in february Mark6631 just wouldn't let me in and so it only allowed me to change name to Endeavour51 and still only to sign in by the newer name.
