Rogers Media expands partnership with Neulion

Mr. Chris Wagner reorts

ROGERS MEDIA EXPANDS PARTNERSHIP WITH NEULION

NeuLion Inc. has expanded its partnership with Rogers Media to create and deliver a TV everywhere experience for Rogers' seven Sportsnet channels, called Sportsnet Now, across Canada on multiple devices. Through the partnership, NeuLion will deliver authenticated live simulcasts of the Sportsnet channels in an innovative, user-friendly interface available across PC, smartphones and tablets.

The NeuLion TV Everywhere Platform, a full service end-to-end suite of video management, distribution and monetization tools, enables Rogers Media to give its subscribers yet another way to connect to Sportsnet, the leading source for in-depth sports coverage in Canada. The seamless pay TV authentication with Sportsnet affiliates across multiple devices will quickly and easily allow viewers to sign-in and choose how and what they want to watch. Sportsnet NOW features a quad screen view option that will enable viewers to turn their PC, tablet or smartphone into a multi-channel sports experience.

The new digital destination, built exclusively for Sportsnet, will also include a state-of-the-art, intuitive consumer navigation panel showing what is live across all seven channels, which will easily allow viewers to instantly navigate and personalize what is important to them. Additionally, the channel broadcast schedule seamlessly integrates with the new service for Sportsnet's viewers, providing easy navigation across channels with a newly introduced DVR feature for searching and watching all of the channels. Viewers can then set alerts and reminders to watch any upcoming shows.

"Our partnership with NeuLion continues to grow as they enable us to deliver more and more unique digital experiences, getting our content quickly and easily into viewers' hands," said Pary Bell, Vice President of Sportsnet & NHL Properties, Digital Media, Rogers. "By working with NeuLion, we are able to seamlessly integrate our seven broadcast channels through one digital destination, allowing our viewers access to all content on digital devices and the ability to watch up to four different channels at once."

"We are excited to expand our partnership with Rogers Media with the launch of Sportsnet NOW using the NeuLion TV Everywhere Platform," said Chris Wagner, EVP of Marketplace Strategy at NeuLion. "This new TV Everywhere experience is second-to-none, giving viewers access to all seven channels on multiple devices with integrated programming guides, network DVR features for the consumer and personalization features for Sportsnet fans."

We seek Safe Harbor.
