My suspicion

My suspicion is that they've known for a while that this was coming, hence the purchase of DIVX, which was a red flag for me.  This has definitely turned into a drama that will be all over the media, which inevitably will bring a lot more eyes to this stock, and when the dust finally settles, we shall see what the market truly thinks.  NLN was cleverly manipulated today and is clearly oversold at this price, but it is impossible to speculate what its "market" value will become in the coming weeks.  It is possible that this could be a blessing in disguise.

It has been clear for over a year that MLB was NLN's only real competition, and their sports pedigree beats NLN. But first MLBAM has to chew and digest this deal, and deliver on its promises, before they can go after bigger fish. Meanwhile, NLN has DivX and MLN doesn't. NLN is now a 4K play more than sports play, i.e. a large screen play instead of a small screen play. Who wants to watch
