NLN - Do your own DD

The Loss of NHL contract represents about 12 to 18% of income.

Current SP (i.e. 67c)  since the last NR is down more than 55%.

As Warren Buffet says, "I love it when it goes down. It means the company buys stock cheap".

Insider bought at 86c, and current SP is only 67c.

I'm pretty sure, SP will recover soon. All we need support from the big boys or BOD.

Out of 244M shares out, 79% owned by insiders.

I'm all in.

Unfortunately shareholders base the stock on "future growth". When they see a company that is a pure growth play retract or lose contracts than you can no longer assess it at a high future growth valuation. It's falling based solely on that...not what they lost in revenue " today".

Wrong. Losing one customer does not mean growth has stalled. NLN stock is suffering because idiot mgmt blew the handling of disclosure re the NHl lost contract.

This stock isn't a pure growth play, they're well established - albeit mostly in North America, however it isn't proprietary tech, and some do it better. Losing the NHL is a big deal. BAM Tech offered them a great contract, and even if they retain other leagues the contracts would be re-negotiated. 4K? Not even worth talking about.

NLN has been competing with MLB for years and winning contracts.  Per the investor presentation:

What's your point? BAM Tech gave the NHL a much better contract. You don't think the NFL or NBA noticed?
Comment by lscfa on Aug 17, 2015 4:15pm
Guess what? The damn NFL and NBA contracts are growing as slowly as the NHL becasue all three leagues have had the same number of teams for many years. Losing them is no big deal either. Growth is coming from the addition of new leagues, new colleges, new sports programs and new content providers in the non- sports area (e.g. BNN) where distribution rights will not be an issue. There are hundreds ...more

Maybe they can get into broadcasting little league too. Who needs professional sports, right? LOL

Dont knock little league...if you didnt notice the little league world series was broadcast on a major national us communication company....and its not LOL anymore...only 2% of the time this is used its now supposed to be HaHa...time to get with the times

You're a joke.

About 5 years ago a major national canadian communication company broadcasted a rock paper scissors competition - no joke. But seriously who talks like that?

You buffoons have killed some time for me, so thanks. Good luck investing whatever meager amount of money you have to play with.

You are showing your ignorance for NLN's business model. They help content providers distribute their content over internet outlets and get paid for it. Little league baseball's money is as good as anyone elses.
Comment by Craigbad on Aug 17, 2015 3:48pm
There is nothing to support this stock technically or fundementally right now.  Business model is broken. Spending large amounts on r and d while losing signifigant revenue on old platforms can only last for so long. As i said before its like a cat chasing its tail.  I will not consider covering my short until 45 cents. It will be a long slow bleed of capital erosion for longs until then ...more

I was a fool to buy 50,000 shares at 1.16. This is the same top management that ran Computer Associates into the ground despite a solid early lead. They just don't know how to make a business successful. If they did, they'd be chasing opportunities outside the US. China and India combine have FOUR TIMES as many smart phones as the US. And Indians are mad crazy about cricket! I asked the ...more

Yikes. So you're still in at 1.16?

Watch out if stop losses get hit.  This thing is very close to gapping down, my guess is if it hits 58 cents there will be a waterfall.
Comment by Craigbad on Aug 18, 2015 10:02am
Where do people think the stop losses are? 56,57,58?
