Very nice article, indeed. It's true that Neulion might be interesting for Netflix to acquire, especially as their growth has about capped by now, though I wonder if Amazon would not be a better candidate for an acquisition. Disney has made the choice to acquire MLBAM. Any serious competitor would better acquire as many agreements as possible in order to eventually dominate the sector. Neulion ...more

ok...my bad - i'm the first to admit - the revenue numbers are accurate in the Forbes article. At the 2016 Re/code summit, Bob Bowman, the CEO of MLBAM, said he expects revenue of $1.2 billion to $1.3 billion during 2016 (a substantial increase over2015 revenue of $800 million).  Mr. Bowman also stated a revenue split of 80 / 20 between baseball and third party revenues.  Those ...more
