That little is known re UK expenses may well be behind sp
action of late but there is also a good deal of sp suppression taking place with 100 share swaps between traders using CIBC accounts. This has been knocking sp down whenever it moves up so its difficult with volume as thin as it is for sp to get any traction. Determining whether they are day traders or investors wanting to load up when sp hits bottom is a guessing game but it has been going on for several weeks. Personally I hold a nice sized position and wish them success because they could be giving us another great buying op. March 1st is two weeks away so at the rate of sp erosion we could see $1 before then and if UK expenses knock eps down as many seem to be expecting we could see .85 again however weak hands are being thinned so the pendulum should settle quickly. There could be a significant difference between adjusted and unadjusted earnings which would make a good headline for the release. If revenue is increasing eps will fall in line and all will be good. The bain of stocks held tightly by insiders is lack of news. We are in the dark as far as what is happening in the UK in terms of expenses and what revenue is being contributed by the new clients of late. IMHO GLTA
