The ultra rich don't really care about daily share pricing.................it's only as you describe the " small chumps" who live and die by loose change flucuations................most of the times brought on by the big boys flexing their muscle or in the case of Green tech as compared to oil commodities. The hospital he made a donation to might have wished for the higher priced

How people view investing is so very interesting. Take a scenario like selling 10,000 of a person's shares that they bought at $10 for a sell price of $30 so a profit of $200k. The stock then goes up to $40 so the person misses out on an additional profit of $100k. Now, should the person fell like a chump for missing out on $100k or a champ for getting the $200k.  I'm a small guy

Markets don't "mock";  only certain investors feel mocked. Doubt that Temerty feels that way.  Probably pleased that his donation of $250M in shares to U of T has increased in value. I myself lightened my position in NPI because over the years with DRIP it had become top heavy.  Ditto with FTS.  Discipline demanded it.  Bought every Canadian bank with the
