Northlands potential to attract larger company

A year or so ago there was talk about the potential for a larger company give northland a look, wonder if that's still the case? or we've got so much on the go now that they aren't seeking it. I think they should branch out into the North American market more with projects. Long term here is good value no matter what as we wait for renewables to pick back up in the future.

Yes, more than a year ago the company had put out feelers for a possible sale. I think that had to do with the Founder/CEO/Chair  Temerty wanting to do some estate planning/divestment because so much of his personal wealth was tied up in NPI shares.  He found other means to achieve his goal.  He ended up donating a quarter of a billion $$ in NPI shares to U of T from his portfolio ...more
