Northland's Crystal Ball

Green Hydrogen. Even before the recent geopolitical event, the vision for green hydrogen was firmly established.

To have commercial scale production is expensive. However recent events added support for the industry, which assumes higher prices for natural gas and emerging energy security concerns as the new norms.

Northland's intent to participate in this industry is timely.

Governments have now included green hydrogen targets in their strategies for net-zero and for reducing dependence on Russian gas supply.

Companies in heavy industries where emissions are hard-to-abate have announced in recent weeks major deals for green hydrogen.

Dibah420, I try to find things about Northland's projects online, So at least there's an avenue to a link. Otherwise it's only talk. The Hecate Wind project is a tough one to get info on the internet. Some public consultations and meetings took place. For example, here is a reference to an August 18, 2021 meeting. There is a video  (August 18)  where John Wright speaks. Videos - COAST (canadacoast.ca) A lot of things have to align, but it's possible. Talks about domestic money going to finance overseas windfarms, when local opportunities could help to put investment capital to use in Canada. Talked about overlapping of provincial and federal jursidiction over the waters and causing ...more
