Events of the day

Selling pressure again today. Could be to various factors, windfall profit clawback, higher interest rates, etc. Also Orsted stock being shorted more.

Another earthquake in Mexico today.  Unusual that the last 3 quakes before today's quake, all happened on the same day. Russia mobilizing up to 300K reservists.

Autumn starts today. Colder days coming for Europe.

Besides Orsted, Northland getting shorted 3.5 million shares. Large increase. All renewables are down today. Some 5%. Interest rate rise the cause? More increases coming. Maybe that Australian newsletter was right. Stay in cash for the short-term..

I prefer to stay with the old adage Go with the Fed.   And seldom has the Fed made its intent any clearer.   While I keep hearing screams of bloody murder that rates are too high the public, in its pain, is befogging its perspective.  Rates in fact are too low. Staying in cash for the short term is sound as long as it is clearly delineated.  Selling your stocks to ...more
