Northland Power opens new office in Calgary for Western Canadian presence. Outside of the Hecate offshore project, maybe Northland should take a look at onshore wind power in BC.

Interestingly, the most recent submissions to the BC Environmental Assessment Office (EAO) for new renewable energy projects isn’t for wind power, but solar. But solar projects don't stand much of a chance in B.C., where latitude and climate make it less efficient than wind power.
